Describe a Tall Building in Your City You Like or Dislike – IELTS SPeaking Test Sample Answer

You should say:

#Where this building is

#What it looks like

#What it is used for

#Explain why you like or dislike it.

Where is this Building?

There aren’t precisely too many tall skyscrapers in my hometown, as far as I know, but there are a limited number of them which, I believe, earn some awareness. Here, today, I would appreciate speaking about one such tall skyscraper in my hometown which got my scrutiny.

The skyscraper is conveniently placed at the heart of my hometown, close to an important crossing, which can be easily accessed from all paths. The building is 25 storeys tall, with a size of about 14,000 square feet on each floor, which is constructed with all kinds of recent building materials, including fine limestone rock, river grain, bricks, tiles, fibre concrete plates, metal shafts, cement, mortar and glasses among several additional things.

What does it Look Like and What is it Used For?

This is a curved-shape construction and its surface is fully made of fibreglass and aluminium amalgamated blanket while the entire interior bottom and walls are created of extremely high-quality tiles. The construction is also completely air-conditioned. There is a huge patio/terrace in the mid-section of the tower, which is hanging separately from the front side and attached to the tower by itself for people to relax. The construction also has a huge parking area in front of it. Having a great architectural design, this construction is mainly used as one of the prime employment centres of the town. It also houses many offices of some big industries and businesses. There is also an enormous committee centre in this tower, which inhabits the entire 6th floor. Ultimately, this skyscraper is also administered by a 24 hours lift/elevator installation.

Explain Why do You Like It?

Anyway, I like this facility, largely because it has a relatively nice architectural layout. In fact, this construction is formulated and constructed with such a nice architectural layout and at such a different area that one can certainly get a perspective of it from at least 6/7 kilometre away. Ultimately, I prefer this construction also because I can get an excellent perspective of my wonderful hometown, particularly during the twilight time, from the top-most floors of this skyscraper.

Where is this Building?

Thank you so much for this fine topic. I actually am delighted to have the opportunity to reside in the town of Malaga in Spain. This is one of the ancient towns in the nation and is illustrated by various configurations which create it one of the most gorgeous towns in the entire nation. Previously we got a huge building in the southeast intersection of the town which is practically a mega shopping mall that has several varieties and provincial marts.

What does it Look Like?

The architectural layout of the construction is outstanding. The outer of the whole building is created of crystal. The 14-story building also glimpses elegance in the first portion of the day. The sunlight contemplation on the building is amazing. The tower-like pattern is able to imprison scrutiny from everyone while the prominent heating management technique furnishes satisfaction to the travellers.

What is it Used For?

The building is a shopping mall, and this is the biggest one in the surrounding neighbourhood. A broad sum of marts is accessible there. Nearly every prominent signature could be found there and besides, some of the provincial marts in the mall offer elegant and conventional regional commodities. The compilation of regional and imported commodities will equally astonish travellers and art enthusiasts.

Explain Why do You Like It?

Well, I like the construction for its extraordinary layout and establishments. But it weakens me to imagine that a huge percentage of the biological atmosphere was harmed during the formation of this enormous tower. So I have varied emotions about this tower. I adore it for its look and establishments but I also dislike it for the truth that a huge percentage of the biological atmosphere was harmed to establish it.
