Brief Introduction of IELTS Examination

IELTS Speaking Test

IELTS Speaking Test is the last section of the IELTS and is conducted on a separate day. It is a face-to-face interview, where an interviewer tests the candidate based on the command in English conversation.

It consists of three parts:

Section 1: Introduction and Interview (4-5 mins)

Speaking Part 2

In this session, candidates have to speak on a random topic for 1-2 minutes. They will be allotted one minute to think and then have to speak.

 What is a Cue Card?

A Cue Card is also called a Candidate Task Card. This cue card contains three main topics and other important points to be included while speaking. You have to speak about every topic for at least 1-2 minutes. Before it, you will be given 1 minute to think about it. You will also be provided pen and paper to write down important keywords.

Then the interviewer will ask 1-2 questions on the same topic.

Introduction

Food is important for us humans as it provides us with energy. Our body is made up of the food we eat. I am quite a foodie person and love to cook as well as eat different delicacies. What Is It?
