An IELTS Speaking Test has three parts in it – Part One, Part Two, and Part Three.

Introduction Questions for IELTS 2022
When a candidate enters the examination room for the IELTS speaking test, the examiner doesn’t start with a list of questions to attack him/her with. But, to take it forward slowly, he/she is first asked to introduce themselves in order to make the candidate comfortable enough for the test ahead.
Generally, there are a series of introductory questions that the candidate is being asked about & these begin with:
Number 1
The first topic that any candidate is required to answer in order to present themselves in front of the reviewer is that they are asked about their names.
To such a question, one can reply by saying, “My name is ________.”
After this, the second question asked by the applicant is: “What can I call you?”.
This might sound odd to some people, but generally, this is asked by the investigator to know the correct pronunciation of your name, because in most cases, people are not able to pronounce their own English name; which is something that is not ACCEPTED by them.
To answer this, you can simply say, “You can call me ________________.”
Number 2
After your name, the next possible thing that can come to an examiner’s mind to ask you is “where do you belong to/ where are you from.”
Intelligibly respond to this by telling, “I’m from __________/ I belong to ________.”
Lastly, you’ll be asked to present your credentials, after which, they’ll easily begin with the other rounds of the questionnaire.

Speaking with confidence is the key to getting a high score on the Speaking Test. Relax as soon as the test begins, and try not to think of it as a test but rather as a conversation with a good friend.
Get a Head Start on the Questions You’ll be Asked
You should have a general idea of the types of questions the examiner will ask. Try to mentally practise answering these questions so that you can speak fluently and confidently during the test.

Show That You’re Interested in the Questions

Extend Your Responses as Much as Possible

Make an effort to respond to all of the questions posed by the examiner.

Speaking Questions for IELTS

IELTS Speaking Part One
The first part of the speaking exam lasts for a maximum of four-five minutes. This part consists of around eight-ten speaking questions, and two-three familiar speaking topics that one is asked all about.
These questions could be based on a variety of topics such as your job, studies, family, hometown, as well as accommodation, etc.
Obviously, the first part of the exam is a lot easier than the second part because these are just some general questions asked by a candidate.

For example, an answer to a question as simple as “Are buses cheap in your city?” could be either given in a short response like, “Yes, they are very cheap; only two dollars for a single journey” or it could be like “Yes, the fares for the bus rides are very cheap in my city because a large number of people use these public transport every day to travel to their workplaces. So, it’s just two dollars for a single journey, which according to me, is quite cheap.”
But the one thing that you have to keep in mind while presenting an answer to your question is the time limit being provided with this. Many-a-times, students forget about the time limit due to which they are sometimes rejected by the examiner.

IELTS Speaking Part Three
This is the last round of the speaking test. In this part, an individual is generally asked about four-eight more such speaking questions; all of which are connected to the IELTS speaking topics discussed in part two of this examination.
A candidate is asked a few questions based on his/her answers to the previous round and this usually lasts around four-five minutes. Some of the general questions being asked in this round are related to the second part of the test only. So, the questions being asked are carried forward from the second part of the test and these are:
