Pointers to keep in mind:

  • Time is of the essence, so always make sure you finish solving the exercise in 7 mins.
  • Do not take external help, this exercise is to help you evaluate your skills.
  • Do not look at the answers section till you have finished answering the questions yourself.
  • There are 6 parts to the exercise, all are compulsory.
  • Spend the 6 mins finding the answer. Allocate 1 min to finding the answer to one question.
  • After having found all the answers, fill the answer sheet in the last minute.

Procedure for enrolment for the University of southern Queensland

A Enrolment Process
The enrolment process registers you onto the course you have chosen to study at Doncaster College.  We also ensure your personal details are correct and determine whether any fees are payable. At the end of the process you will receive a copy of your Learner Agreement and your student ID card which allows access around the college. Enrolment for full-time courses delivered over a full academic year (September to June/July) takes place during August.
B Application & Interview enrolment
Once you have been through the application process and have been offered a place you will be invited in to enrol.If you are aged 16-18 please bring your GCSE results when you come to enrol.If you are aged over 19; unemployed but seeking employment, enrolling onto a course to help you get back into work and receiving certain benefits you will be eligible to have your fees paid.
C Understand your courses
Your program will have a recommended enrolment pattern, which shows you the courses that you should be studying each semester. To view your recommended enrolment pattern, take a look at the USQ Handbook. Find your program, view the left menu and select recommended enrolment pattern. Write down or print the names and course codes (ie CMS1000 for Communication and Scholarship) of the courses you will be enrolling in for the first year of study. If you have been given credit for previous work or study, you may need to work with your faculty program advisors to develop an individual enrolment plan.
D Complete the enrolment process
To enrol in your courses, you will add your classes to your Enrolment Cart and complete the My Details Checklist. Once you are happy with the courses you have added to your Enrolment Cart, you will need to confirm your classes to finalise your enrolment.
E Changing your enrolment
Your Student Centre allows you to control a range of administration issues. After your initial enrolment, you may like to change your enrolment, such as adding or dropping courses, changing your exam centre or updating your personal details.
Please refer to the list of Important Student Dates to familiarise yourself with important dates that apply to you.
F Educational certificates
As part of the application process you will be required to input details of your educational background. Therefore before starting the process you might want to gather your educational certificates. You can upload electronic copies of these with your application. This will enable our Admissions Office to start assessing your application.It would be helpful if you are able to upload verified copies of your documents with your application. However, if you are unable to do this at this time, the documents can be submitted at a later time.
G Application fee
Some undergraduate courses have a non-refundable application fee which must be paid before the application can be processed. You can pay online using credit or debit card or offline by sending a bank draft made payable to the University of London. Please ensure that you quote your full name and student number if when sending the draft. Bank drafts should be sent to our address
H Additional guidance
To help you enroll in your courses, refer to the different sections of the Enrolment Guide. This will provide assistance on: viewing your recommended enrolment pattern along with completing the my details checklist – if you are enrolling for the first time this year, adding classes to your enrollment cart, and finalising your enrolment .If you have any difficulties or require assistance along the way, there is a help button on every page of your Student Centre that provides step-by-step instructions or alternatively you can contact your Student Relationship Officer.

Strategies to solve true, false or not given type of questions.

Step1: Read the passage.

Read the passage carefully and after reading the passage and the questions, highlight the answers you spotted easily.

Step 2: Spot Keywords

For the answers you did not find, go through the passage again paragraph by paragraph. Underline the keywords you recognize.

Step 3: Before writing the answer

After you think you have found all the answers recheck if your answer clearly addresses the question. Then carefully transfer the answers to the answer sheet.
