The government had made certain laws for the protection of the environment. Many laws have been passed by the countries regarding no smoking, plastic ban, deforestation and many other things.

For a specific one, I would like to talk about the law on e-waste which was passed in May 2011 and came into action in May 2012. The main purpose of this law is to lessen the use of hazardous substances in electronic and electrical devices.

People, as well as the government, have taken several measures to protect the environment. Nature is a crucial aspect for human beings. Some people take it for granted, but some of them try to make efforts and cooperate to save the environment. Likewise, the government has also presented a few laws in order to conserve the environment.

One of my favourite laws or say the one which I believe can make a big difference to save the environment is the law banning the use of plastic carry bags. If we avoid using plastic carry bags, it can make a huge variation for the environment and save the earth.

What are the Benefits of it-?

There are numerous benefits of this law. The ban on plastic bags enhances the economy and reduces the cost of goods. Plastic bags are not biodegradable, when they become waste they pollute the rivers, ponds and many other water bodies. Marine life will also enhance if the plastic is less.  If this is banned there will be less emission of pollution in the environment. Picking and cleaning up the litter caused by plastic costs greater tax money too. The Ban on plastic bags also decreases the need for petroleum. The population of the mosquitoes will also be reduced.

Keeping in view the objectives and benefits of this law, I would like to say that even a small effort of human beings can cause a lot of difference in the environment which in turn is an advantage for the people itself. If plastic is banned there will be less pollution in the air, hence making nature and the atmosphere better for us to live in. The water bodies will be cleaner for us to utilize the water in our daily life in many aspects.
