Describe the Activity You Like
Once in a while, I like to indulge myself in an activity which in my opinion is slightly too expensive and that is going for a body spa. I have been going for spas for years now. I usually get a full-body spa treatment which includes massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, and acupressure.
Who do You do It With?
Since this activity is for the mind and body relaxation, I prefer to do it alone and try to enjoy my own company. I put my phone on silent, close my eyes, and enjoy their treatments.
How is it Expensive?
In this full-body spa, you have to pay around 3-4k. The prices may vary depending on the kind of salon you visit and the services you opt for. I have been going to the same salon for the past five years because they provide me with a special discount.
What are Your Emotions about It?
I feel like, in this world of chaos, one needs to find their mental peace. Getting that 2- hour spa session does not only make me feel fresh but rejuvenates my entire body. It is an expensive activity but definitely worth its price.

Describe an Activity You Like
Well, I do not generally spend a lot of money on myself but at times, I end up splurging on a few activities. One of such activities is going clubbing. It is one such activity that I look forward to and enjoy doing in groups.
Who do You do It With?
That is why I go out with my bunch of friends. We collectively decide which clubs will be fun to go to and offer great ambience. In addition to that, we also look for clubs that offer appetizing food and mocktails.
How is it Expensive?
Now the reason why I included clubbing as an expensive activity is because there are charges for literally anything and everything. The entry fees for nightclubs can vary from 1k- 2k. Then you would have to pay for food and drinks which will cost anywhere from 1-2k again and not forget the parking charges. So overall, you need to carry around 5k if you are planning to go for clubbing.
What are your Emotions?
Even though it is an activity that requires you to spend extra money but clubbing allows me to destress and unwind myself after a long hectic day. I forget all my worries as soon as I enter the club. I feel once in a while everyone should indulge themselves in one such activity which makes them feel liberated.
Things to Keep in Mind during the IELTS Exam
When you are given the IELTS cue card question, write down the main ideas and break it into parts. Next to each part write down how much time you are willing to spend. For example- you can assign 30 secs to the introduction, 30 sections to the middle part, and last one minute for the conclusion bit. Cut out unnecessary information that has no relevance to the question. This ensures that you will end up speaking at a defined time. Planning for your Cue Card is as important as answering for the IELTS speaking questions.
Conclusion
By now, you would have a better understanding of how to approach cue card questions and answer them in a logical manner. The more you attempt to answer these sample questions the better you will perform in the actual IELTS speaking exam.
