Basically, Canada has a program for immigrants called the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program which is built for citizens in Alberta who have the expertise and abilities to fix work shortages. This Express Entry Stream requires the government to nominate, from the federal Express Entry scheme, and only a restricted number of candidates are nominated.

The Alberta Immigrant Applicant Program will choose eligible applicants directly from the Express Entry pool. (AINP). Before they are eligible to submit an application, applicants must receive notice of interest.

The campaign is targeted at candidates with close links to Alberta who are helping to improve the economy and promote diversity.

How to Apply for Alberta Express Entry PNP?

To apply for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP),  immigrants may apply in two separate ways. Without going through the Canadian Express Entry scheme, an Expression of Interest (EOI) can be submitted to Immigration Alberta directly. If nominated via this method, by uploading their provincial nomination credentials into the portal, an applicant may then apply for Canada Permanent Residency via Express Entry.

The other choice is by developing a new Express Entry profile. If this is completed, directly via the framework, the applicant may then demonstrate an interest in the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. The potential immigrant will therefore win 600 points on his or her Express Entry score if an Alberta nomination is then received, greatly raising their chances of receiving an invitation to apply during the next Express Entry draw.

Conclusion

Your chances of receiving notification of interest can go up if you have graduated from Canada or received a job offer from an Albertan employer. Don’t worry about feeling left out in Alberta because Canada is home to minorities as about 22 % of minorities reside in  Canada. Now that fear is out of the way. Make sure before you submit your profile meet all the criteria so that you stand a good chance of getting selected. Good luck!
