How to Apply for Alberta Express Entry PNP?
To apply for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), immigrants may apply in two separate ways. Without going through the Canadian Express Entry scheme, an Expression of Interest (EOI) can be submitted to Immigration Alberta directly. If nominated via this method, by uploading their provincial nomination credentials into the portal, an applicant may then apply for Canada Permanent Residency via Express Entry.
The other choice is by developing a new Express Entry profile. If this is completed, directly via the framework, the applicant may then demonstrate an interest in the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. The potential immigrant will therefore win 600 points on his or her Express Entry score if an Alberta nomination is then received, greatly raising their chances of receiving an invitation to apply during the next Express Entry draw.
