Candidates who have given the IELTS examination will be curious to know their IELTS results. You will get your IELTS result in the form of TRF which stands for Test Report Form. TRF indicates your band score between the range of 0 to 9. It is a very important document for the universities. You can get TRF online or through courier. But if you want it at your doorstep, then you have to check with the centre where you gave your IELTS examination. Not all centres deliver TRF at the Candidates place. What is TRF in IELTS?
TRF is the document that shows your result of the IELTS test given by you. If you took the exam on paper, you will be able to see a snapshot of your results 13 days after the test date. The findings are available on the Test Taker Portal. If you took the test on a computer, you will be able to see a snapshot of your results 3 to 5 calendar days after the test date. Examine the performance using the Test Taker Portal. While IELTS results are available online for 28 days, they should not be regarded as an official confirmation of your success. Please keep in mind that if you took IELTS for UKVI, you will only be able to preview your results after receiving an email with a connection to the system.

What is Additional TRF in IELTS?
Within one (1) month of taking the IELTS exam, an applicant can request up to five (5) additional TRFs to be sent to Receiving Institutions (universities, professional bodies, etc.). TRFs sent via courier will be delivered by DHL, and students will be charged accordingly. If the Receiving Institution allows electronic submission of ratings, this can be arranged at no cost through the IDP IELTS office. More than five TRFs incur an additional charge, in addition to courier costs. These are sent to the Receiving Organizations of your choosing. For more details, please contact your IDP IELTS Centre.
For more TRFs to be sent to recipient organizations, the applicant has to complete the “Request for the Issue of Supplementary TRFs” for more than one month after taking the test. In addition to regular courier fees, there is an extra charge for each additional TRF requested after a month.
How to find IELTS TRF Number?
You may also assign the test report form set to someone else. Please fill in the “Payment Authorisation Form” and return the application in the “Application for Additional TRFs” to the IELTS Test Center in your area. Contact your IELTS test centre for further details.
You may obtain the IELTS TRF online or have it shipped to your home. To obtain it online, you must include your name, date of birth, and registration id that includes a passport or other national identification to validate your Id. You can obtain the IELTS TRF in PDF format by providing all of this information. If you want it shipped, you must contact the centre where you took the exam. Though there are a few IELTS test centres that will not submit the results via mail, the applicant should confirm this ahead of time.
To proceed, they will need your TRF tracking number, which can be found in the bottom right corner of the candidate’s TRF report.

Additional Test Report for Institutions
Following the submission of a request form and payment of the applicable courier fee, British Council may send copies of your IELTS results or the IELTS Test Result Form (TRF) to recognised institutions and organizations. Courier rates for overseas addresses are Php1,400 and Php250 for local embassies.
Candidates who use the paid courier service will be provided with a tracking or air waybill number to confirm receipt of the TRF. The results will be sent within five working days of receiving the request, or within ten working days for requests paid by bank deposit. In most cases, institutions will not consider a Test Report Form that is more than two years old. After that, you must give proof that you have preserved or strengthened your English since taking the exam.
Result During Pandemic
To ensure your protection, you will be notified via SMS of your result collection day and time. On the 13th day for paper-based IELTS and 3-5 days for computer-delivered IELTS. You are required to pick up a hard copy of your results on the date and time listed in the SMS. If you are unable to collect your results on the designated day and time, please contact the customer service team at – [email protected] or 01- 4237700.
Up to 10 more copies of your TRF can be sent directly to your institutions. Please provide the appropriate addresses when booking your exam, if you would like us to do this.
Don’t forget to offer the institution’s full mailing address. Without the complete address, we are unable to verify whether the IELTS Test Report Form Verification Service provides the Institute with access to your results after electronic submission. We will give you your TRF by mail if you don’t have access to that service.

Current Mode of Result transmission
The following modes of communication of your results are currently available:
Electronic – free of charge. The results will be submitted electronically to universities/ institutions that have signed up for electronic score downloads (STED ROs). As specified on the STED RO list, the university and the address information for ATRF forms must match exactly. In the downloads section below you will find the STED RO list of universities that accept electronic scores for IELTS.
International Courier – Depending on the destination country, a courier fee may be paid. You are obligated to submit your findings via courier if your university/institute is not available on the STED RO list.
