IELTS TRF Tracking: How to Find IELTS TRF Tracking Number?

If you have given the IELTS examination then you must be waiting for the result right? When you started the preparation and research work about the IELTS examination, you must have come across TRF. But if you haven’t earlier, you don’t have to worry because in this article you will get to know all about what is TRF in IELTS? What is the TRF  number in IELTS? What is additional TRF in IELTS? The IELTS TRF is an extremely important document because it is the source from which universities/colleges view your ratings. Following the release of the test report, institutes will be able to display the candidates’ scores through the Test Report Form Verification Service.

TRF Full Form in IELTS

TRF stands for Test Report Form. It is a paper-based score that candidates receive who give the examination. Generally, the candidate received the report within 13 days from the day you take the examination. Candidates who gave the Computer-based examination can receive the score within 3 to 5 days once the test is given. it is to be collected by the person or it can also be delivered to the candidate’s residence via post which depends on the arrangement done by the centre. The validity of the Report is of two years. This document tells the candidate her/his band score which is obtained in the range of 0 to 9.  But this test report is not disclosed via a phone call or via an email. Candidates receive one IELTS TRF  that is released after candidates give the examination. To get it, ID proof of the candidate is required which he/ she has used for the registration.

Getting IELTS TRF

You can get the IELTS TRF online or you can also get it delivered to your place. To get it online you will have to provide your name, date of birth, and registration id that has a passport or other national identity to confirm your Id. by providing all this information you can get the test report in PDF format. If you want to get it delivered you have to check with your centre where you gave the examination. Though there are a few test centres that will not send the results via mail, the applicant should confirm this ahead of time.

To continue, they will need your TRF tracking number, which can be found in the bottom right corner of the candidate’s test report. The test report number can also be found at the bottom of the unofficial online results page. However, the latter cannot be used for monitoring because

TRF for the Institutions

One of the most important aspects of the test reports that it sends results to selected universities or colleges for admission. Candidates already paid the exam fee, which included the expense of providing the scores to up to 5 institutions, when they registered. If an additional TRF is required, the candidate must pay an additional fee. Universities usually receive the test report form within a month of taking the exam.

The score is sent by the British Council or IDP via DHL courier or electronic media. If the chosen institution approves the electronic submission, the conducting body makes the required arrangements. Candidates must pay courier fees for the IELTS additional test report form. The reports are distributed directly to the recipients of the chosen organizations.

What is Additional TRF in IELTS?

It is possible that after taking the exam, applicants may feel compelled to apply to more than the five universities or colleges that they have already chosen. If the period lasts a month, they must pay an extra charge to the conducting body – in order for their test report form to be sent to certain institutions. They must fill out an ‘Application for the Issue of Additional TRFs’ form and pay additional fees in addition to the courier fees. Candidates may also delegate the collection of the test report form to someone else. Candidates must complete the ‘TRF-Payment Authorization Form’ and submit it along with the ‘Application for the Issue of Additional TRFs.’

 How to Find IELTS TRF number?

Unofficial results will be available online on the 13th day following the test day. It’s possible that the findings won’t be available until that afternoon. Your test report number can be found on both the Test Report Form and the unofficial online result at the bottom of the list. Please keep in mind that these are not to be used for official purposes, and that official Test Report Forms are required for all organizations or agencies.

Official results will be mailed or delivered via courier on the 13th day following your exam. We strongly advise you to use a courier service because regular mail cannot be tracked and can take up to three weeks to arrive.

Test takers may also opt to pick up the official test report at our Waterloo headquarters after 12:00 p.m. on the 13th day following the test. Before the results are posted, test takers must inform IELTS Conestoga, and they must carry their test day identification with them to pick up the TRF.

Note for Academic and General Training Exams

All academic test-takers will be given one original Test Results Form to keep for their own records. This is a very sensitive document that should be kept in a safe place. Please do not submit your personal copy to any institution or agency. You will not be provided with a second personal copy. Please see the Additional Test Report Form Requests section for more information.

Test takers in General Training will receive one original Test Report Form. General Training test takers may request ONE additional TRF within 2 years of the test date. If test takers order it at the time of registration, they will receive two TRFs (1 for their own copy and 1 for immigration purposes).
