The IELTS Exam
The IELTS Exam contains two types: IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. Both the tests evaluate your English language abilities in reading, speaking, writing and listening. IELTS Online Registration
You can easily register for the IELTS exam online at your own ease or you can go for offline mode, you can visit your nearest IDP branch to register. For online mode there are few simple steps that one need to follow:
# 1. The first step will be, get your device ready and connect it with the internet then log on to the IELTS India Website.
# 2. ‘Register for IELTS’ click on that option.
# 3. Choose your preferred test whether you want to go for paper-based(offline) or computer-delivered(online).
# 4. Choose your type of test – Academic or General Training for the IELTS exam.
# 5. Select your exam location/ city you wish for.
# 6. After you are finished filling in the above details, then you will find the date list available for your preferences. Choose the date and time slot that you think is best for you.
# 7. Finish the online application by filling up the needed details.
# 8. In order to complete the process, you also need to upload a clear, scanned colour copy of your passport.
# 9. Proceed to fee payment
After you are done with booking the test date, in your registered email/phone number you will receive an acknowledgement. According to your preferred date and time, for the speaking test, you can reserve a slot online. By any chance you fail to select a slot within the described time period, automatically a time will be allocated for you.
