I have been born and brought up in a country, where showing respect to elders inhabited our culture. I genuinely believe that senior citizens often bring discipline to our society which goes missing at times. They are able to guide us through the difficult phases of our lives because of the experience and knowledge they have gained, and I am grateful for that. I am fortunate enough to have met a lot of jolly and amazing senior citizens, and I respect them all.
How do You know this Person and Who is He or She?
But there is a person whom I respect the most and cannot deny anything she asks from, and that is my grandmother. She is extremely close to my heart, and I am deeply attached to her. Ever since I was a little kid she has taken care of me and looked after me. A retired teacher by profession, she is currently in her late 70’s.
What He or She is Like?
She is one of the nicest people someone will ever meet. She is always looking out for her loved ones and helping the needy. I still remember how she used to tutor the children of our house help, free of cost. She never thinks twice before helping someone. I still remember her helping an individual who had gotten into an accident. This is one thing that I admire about her.
Explain Why You admire Them?
I admire her for so many reasons, but mainly because of her loving and caring nature for everyone. She also adores her grandchildren and she inspires us and repeatedly tells us to believe in ourselves. She tries to keep in touch with me and is connected with me on different social media platforms, and I adore her for that.

I would like to talk about a teacher who taught me History while I was in school. His name is Mr George D’ Souza. He is in his late 60’s and is quite tall with a heavy voice. He taught me first when I was in class 9th and then again in 11th. He was a great teacher and one of my favourites, and I still visit him and spend some time with him. He is a nice person and has a helping nature.

He is someone who does not stick to the book but believes you cannot gain knowledge if you just stick to the syllabus. He would always give us some projects which would force us to read more and that increased our knowledge on various topics. He has an excellent sense of humour and never refuses someone for help.
Why do You Respect or Admire Her?
He uses some amusing tricks which transform any strained circumstance into a happy one. So that is the individual I respect a ton.
