Introduction
Although the majority of us have no criminal intent, we are occasionally involved in wrongdoings, either purposefully or unwittingly.
When Was It?
I’d like to tell you about an occasion in which I was apprehended and punished for committing a crime. I was sixteen years old at the time and my hormones were hyped up. The majority of youngsters my age are interested in smoking and drinking.
I asked my father several times to teach me also allow me to drink and smoke, but he always declined, warning me not to try it for my whole life because it is bad and harmful to my health. I used to fantasise and dream about going to a pub or bar where everyone is dancing and there are drinks everywhere and everyone is crazy for beer.
What Was the Crime? Why Did You Get Involved?
I was home alone one day. I seized the opportunity and asked one of my friends over to my house, where he brought drinks and cigarettes down into the house and we sneaked into the basement.
I was happy as we snuck up the things down when all of a sudden, my father saw us and stopped us when I was taking my first sip, and we went numb when he asked how did we get the drinks and started shouting.
I was numb and didn’t know what to speak, on the other hand, my friend had already escaped. My father came to me and snatched away the beer bottle and also the lighted cigarette from my hand. He didn’t talk to me for the entire week and that’s when I realised that he was doing it for my health and I should also try to change.
Conclusion
My father was furious at this point because I had disobeyed him, but I apologised profusely, expressed my sincere regret, and stated that I had learned my lesson and would not engage in any malpractice or illegal conduct in the future. I promised myself and him that I had never touched those things again in my life.
