Sample Answer 1

The debate about the benefits of technology and drawbacks of technology have been discussed all over the world. There have been great MUN’s held where the topic “Technology” has been widely discussed. But there is no proven answer for the fact about whether technology has made man more social or not. Experts with rich experience in the industry will have different opinions about the same. But what I think is that Technology has made us more technological beings rather than social beings.

There are a plethora of reasons with which I can back my viewpoints. First, I would like to take the scenario of a 3-year-old child who should go out to play with his friend and grow holistically, but instead, they prefer sitting back at home playing games on electronic gadgets: Phones, Ipad, tablets. Today’s children lack social intelligence which was high in the kids born before 2000.

Another instance, if we travel in a public conveyance what we used to do and now what we do? Earlier due to a lack of technology, humans were compelled to talk to each other, but now what? We prefer getting engrossed in our own life, listening to music or watching a series rather than talking to a person sitting next to us. Experiencing this I don’t think that technology has made us social beings, rather it has snatched the social part out of us.

 Sample 2

Some people say that feeling of competition should be encouraged in children others say they should be taught to become cooperative. What is your opinion?

 Answer 2

Do we need a competitive leader or do we need a cooperative transformational leader? By answering this we can get the answer to whether a child should be taught cooperativeness or competitiveness. Today’s child is the future of the country. What values teach them shoes how we want our country’s future to be.

When we grow old whether it is a job setting or any other social setting, we are expected to be cooperative and we are expected to deliver people’s skills. But when we are taught to be competitive right from childhood, I don’t think that we will be able to deliver the value of cooperativeness. Hence, I think we need to focus more on teaching people’s skill to children so that they grow to be transformational leaders, to be cooperative managers and empathetic humans. We have to bring in more and more activities that make the child realize the importance of being human and the importance of helping other people whenever in need.

Break It

Children are so innocent and they are just like water, in whatever shape you put the water in it takes the shape of that vessel, but when it is frozen, it will take the solid shape. Similarly, we have to teach such values to the children which make the place a better world, and these values then have to be frozen so that they follow throughout their life. Hence, Children should be taught to be more cooperative with some dose of competitiveness.
