IELTS Revaluation

Revaluation in IELTS is applying again for a re-assessment of your marks in order to change your IELTS score and get a better one.

Generally, it is done by students who are not happy with their marks and they want to change their scores in the hope of getting high scores the next time they’ll get it. The test papers are checked again and the examiners go through them again in order to check whether or not they have given the candidate the marks lesser than what they deserved.

For this, the candidate has to pay a particular amount to the British council in order for them to reopen their papers and check them again. So, if their scores are increased after the revaluation process, all the amount that had been paid by them is refunded to them. But if in case, they fail to get high marks and their scores are still the same as the previous ones, the money paid by them is not refunded.
