IELTS Exam Syllabus 2022
The IELTS exam syllabus states that all candidates must complete four modules – listening, reading, writing, and speaking – in order to receive a band score that is displayed on the IELTS Test Report Form (TRF).
The Listening and Speaking Modules are the same for all candidates, but the Reading and Writing Modules differ depending on whether they are taking the Academic or General Training Versions of the Test.
सुनना
Listening: This section comprises four sections of boosting difficulty. Each section, which can be either a monologue or a dialogue, begins with a brief explanation of the situation and the speakers to the aspirants. After that, they have some time to go over the questions. A break in the middle of the first three sections allows aspirants to review the remaining questions. Each category is heard only once.

Reading: The reading test in the academic module is divided into three sections, with three texts followed by 13 or 14 questions for a total of 40 questions. There are three sections in the General test as well. However, because the texts are shorter, there may be as many as five to read.
लिखना
Writing: There are two tasks in the Academic module: Task 1 requires candidates to describe a process, graph, diagram, or chart, and Task 2 requires them to respond to an argument. There are two tasks in the General Training module: Task 1 requires aspirants to write a letter or explain a situation, and Task 2 requires them to write an essay.

The speaking test is divided into three sections. The first section is an interview in which candidates are asked questions about their hobbies, interests, and reasons for taking the IELTS exam, as well as other general topics like free time, clothing, computers and the internet, and family.
Aspirants are given a topic card in the second section and are given one minute to prepare before speaking about the topic. The third section consists of a conversation between the examiner and the aspirant, usually about questions related to the theme that they discussed in section 2. This final section is the most difficult because it is more abstract.
