If you are planning to go abroad for studies or to work or for any other reason, then the IELTS exam is one of the hurdles that you need to cross with flying colours. The IELTS exam is conducted by IDP and the British Council. It is used by various institutions, universities, and colleges for assessing the  English proficiency of a candidate. For this, you need to achieve a minimum band in IELTS which is asked by the institution in the particular country you are applying for. Different countries have different minimum score requirements so research thoroughly before you start with your preparation.

In IELTS you are given 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete all the 4 sections given in the exam:- reading, writing, speaking and listening. While you are preparing for the speaking sections you need to work in the right direction. That can happen only if you have done your thorough research on what are important points to remember and what should not be done.

Main Body – IELTS Exam Cue Card Topic

For the main body, you can describe that person, who she/he is open-minded, and what benefits you think they have because they are open-minded?

उत्तर

“She is that type of person, who listens to you and you can speak your heart out to them. As she was a psychology teacher, she knew the importance of listening and being empathetic and she practiced this value. She was a person of free will and she didn’t like to work on presumptions that prevailed. As she was so trustworthy and respected the privacy of every person. When I was in trouble I went to her and vented out all my feelings. She was my catharsis and I used to wait for her to get free, after which she could listen to me.”

IELTS Exam Sample Cue Card Topic Closure

In closure, you can tell the examiner how you feel about the person and are you still in touch with her/him.

उत्तर

“ I fell in love with psychology because I was able to associate myself with the teachers who taught me this subject. I was really close to her and I also scored good marks in psychology. She was that kind of person who never judged people and understood that everybody has their own story and struggles. There are many things that I learned from here and I practiced a few of them. We are still in touch but due to her and my busy schedule we are able to hardly talk, so it’s only about asking each other’s health once in a while.”
