Let’s Look at The Minimum Band  Scores Required in IELTS Approved Countries

Canada

The least band score required is 5.5 in every section and overall a band of 6.  Whereas to apply for postgraduate programs, you require a minimum of 6.0 in each section and 6.5 overall.

Australia

The band score required varies from courses to courses. For medical courses you need to have a band score 7, for bachelor courses it is a 6.0 overall and for postgraduate students, it is 6.5 overall.

The United Kingdom

For a bachelor’s degree, it is essential that you get a 6.5 score overall and the same goes for postgraduate degrees as well. However, if you want to enrol in the top universities of the UK such as the University of Oxford then the average band score expected is 7.0- 7.5 that is the minimum for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The USA

France

New Zealand
