This model answer is of band 7.
The given graph depicts the percentage rate of house husbands and house wives taking care of children in Thailand. It is estimated over the period from 1920 to 2000.
The line graph compares the estimated percentage rate of men and women who stays at home to nurse the kids. In 1920-1940, only 1.3 % of husbands were taking care of their children against 4.5% wives. However, in 1980-2000, the same ratio for men has increased to 6.9% against 2.8% of women. Thus, it is clearly noticeable that the percentage of men who looks after their kids is increasing with a high rate. On the other hand, the ratio of women taking care of their children is decreasing with low rate.
In conclusion, it is very much evident that more men are getting engaged in looking after the children as compared to women in Thailand.
